Playful rationale for the full-wall modular bookcase which cuts the space with ordered geometries. The interplay of volumes and the alternation of full and empty, give greater visual depth to the space and with dynamism modulate the structure in steel and glass. Not only sculptural, but also functional, the library has a distinctly design aspect, its task of containing, hiding, and putting on display. The luminous back-lit cubes give atmosphere to the environment, providing references to the 70’s in the choice of using old treated glass. The cubes lend themselves to multiple uses, practical even as single elements, to create bedside tables or utility tables.
